Lockdown Non Domestic Rate (Business Rate Grant) and Lockdown Discretionary Grant
Lockdown Business Grants, as announced by the Welsh Government, are being administered by individual Local Authorities in Wales. Each local authority appears to be taking a different approach to the application process for these grants, and we encourage all business owners to review the guidance being issued by their local authority. These grants are available from 28th October 2020, and discretionary grants are being dealt with on a first come, first serve basis.
Please see the links below for Neath Port Talbot, Swansea, Cardiff and Pembrokeshire councils web pages in respect of these grants. At the time of writing, there is no information available on the Carmarthenshire or Bridgend Council website in respect of their process for dealing with or applying for these grants, but we advise that you regularly check their web pages for updates, or contact them directly.
Neath Port Talbot Lockdown Grants
Pembrokeshire – (Business Advice and Support – currently no details of how to apply)
These grants are sperate from the Economic Resilience Fund Grants. We also advise all businesses to check their availability for this grant on the Welsh Governments online eligibility checker HERE. This grant will also operate on a first come first served basis, and is live from later today (28th October 2020)
